City Point Park sits on a bluff, overlooking the confluence of the James and Appomattox Rivers. It also served as the headquarters of Ulysses S. Grant's command during the siege of Petersburg. There is a large parking lot, bathroom facilities, and a long trail that follows the water's edge.
