Niumalu Beach Park
Lihue, Hawaii, United States

Before the harbor jetty was built here, Niumalu Beach park was a large sandy beach. The boat launch here is frequently used by the Kialoa Canoe Club, who is housed at the park, fishermen and kayakers. The murky water here frequently has high bacteria counts, so it is better not to swim here. After launching, you can paddle west and up Huleia Stream. There is a pavilion, picnic table, and restrooms within the small park. It is frequently used for large family parties.
