BEACH INFO:

Nicola Lake is located 10 km northeast of Merritt via Hwy 5A. This lake features many activities such as camping, boating, water skiing, fishing, swimming and sailing. There are campgrounds, boat launches, day-use areas, rest stops and viewpoints. The lake is great for kokanee and rainbow trout that can weight up to 20 lbs. Ice-fishing for burbot during the winter months is also possible.

On the west side of the lake, there is a provincial park called Monck, which has a large campground, two sandy beaches and three archaeological sites (First Nation historic rock paintings).
