New Suffolk Beach is located at the end of Jackson Street in New Suffolk and is one of the more popular beaches on the Peconic Bay. It attracts many boaters and fisherman, like many North Fork beaches. It is also one of the few with lifeguards, who are on duty daily from 11am-5pm during summer months. Hours are from sunrise to 10pm. Parking is by Southold town permit only, $6 per year for residents and $150 per year for non-residents, $25 daily. Amenities include a boardwalk, restrooms, playgrounds, picnic tables, pavilions, grills, a boat dock, and boat access that can be used with a permit. Enjoy fishing, jet skiing, kayaking, sailing, snorkeling, and water skiing. No alcohol, fires, pets, or cars allowed on the beach. This is a Tier III beach.
