Naikoon Provincial Park - North Beach
Masset, British Columbia, Canada

North Beach is part of Naikoon Provincial Park and is easily accessible by car or foot by taking Highway 16 from Masset, which then turns into Tow Hill Road. A popular clam-digging, crabbing, beachcombing, ATVing, and hiking area, the beach is wide, sandy, and offers beautiful ocean views, large amounts of driftwood, storm watching (in the off-season). The beaches have hard-packed, wet sand and some pebbles. In Haida tradition, North Beach is the site of creation, where a raven first brought people into this world by coaxing them out of a clam shell.
