Mowat Bay Park is located on Powell Lake, on the beautiful sunshine coast, near the community of Powell River B.C.

The Mowat Bay Trial is a popular local hiking route. The trail is covers the rugged terrain between the Powell Lake Bridge and Mowat Bay. The trail can be accessed from the community of Powell River. From Powell River follow Duncan Street to Manson Avenue, and Mason Avenue to Cranberry Street. Turn on Cranberry, then go north on Mowat Street. Look for the signs and big parking lot.

AMENITIES:

Mowat Bay is a great spot for canoeing, boating and hiking. The area also boasts a sandy beach, a children’s playground, cement amphitheater benches, washrooms and a boat launch. Mowat Bay is a popular weekend destination for families during the summer months.
