Mount Carleton Beach

Established in 1970, Mount Carleton Provincial Park is the largest provincial park in New Brunswick (42,000 acres). Encompassing a mix of Acadian forest and mountain peaks, the park is home to the Maritimes’ highest mountain, where, on a clear day from the top, you can see 10 million trees. The park contains 11 hiking trails, four campgrounds and two heritage cabin sites. Mount Carleton’s lakes and rivers can be explored by canoe or rowboat, lakes can be used for swimming and fishing and the Armstrong Campground has an unsupervised beach.
