This ocean beach is located in the community of Bay Beach. Beach badges are required for visitors ages 12 and over. They can be purchased from Bay Head Improvement Associates in Bay Head. There are few amenites at Bay Head's beaches as it is a fairly quiet area. However, the beach is close to Point Pleasant Beach, which is an active resort area.
