Atlantic City's beaches are spacious, sandy, and free! Visitors can enjoy a variety of beach activities including surfing, kayaking, swimming, volleyball, fishing, or simply relaxing by the water. For your safety, surfing, windsurfing, fishing, and kayaking are only allowed on designated beaches. There are no lifeguards on duty at these designated beaches, but lifeguard supervision is provided at 50 other beach locations along the city's shoreline. For your convenience, there are restrooms at many locations along the beach and beaches are handicapped accessible. Visitors will also find outdoor showers at Lifeguard District Stations and the casino Beach Bars. And, of course, don't miss out on the opportunity to enjoy one of the best boardwalks in America!
