Millway Beach on the northern coast of Barnstable is a small, narrow, residents-only beach with a splendid view of Barnstable Harbor. There are stairs that lead down to the beach from the small, handicap-accessible parking lot on Millway. Here you will find calm waters and a roped-off swimming area. Amenities include showers, restrooms, swimming lessons and handicap chairs. There is also a canteen truck and surf chairs. Lifeguards are on duty during summer season only from 9am until 5pm. No alcohol, fires, or pets allowed. Residential parking stickers are $30 and daily parking fees are $15 (weekdays) and $20 (weekends and holidays). Weekly passes are $50 and seasonal passes are $200.
