Ideal Beach is located on the sandy shoreline of Raritan Bay on Bayside Parkway in North Middletown (zip code 07718). On clear days, you can see New York City's coastline. The beach comprises 25 acres of land and is an amazing location to relax. Swimming, fishing and boating are all permitted at the beach.

There are also bathrooms and a playground for visitors to use. Admission is free but no pets are allowed. Both the beach and the restrooms are open seasonally with beach hours being May through October from Dawn to Dusk. On clear days, you can see New York City's coastline.Ideal beach is 25 acres.
