This beach is part of the 4H Farley Outdoor Education Center, a summer youth camp in Cape Cod. The camp is operated by the Cape Cod 4H Corporation. Mashpee and Wakeby Ponds connect just north of this area, making the two ponds Cape Cod's largest freshwater expanse.
