Marten River Campground Beach on Lesser Slave Lake

Marten River Campground Beach is on Lesser Slave Lake and a part of the Lesser Slave Lake Provincial Park. The beach is less sweeping than Devonshire Beach but also an extension of Devonshire Beach. The sand is plentiful and natural. The waters are clear and shallow in the swimming area. Overall, one of the best beaches in Alberta. Very popular with families and bird lovers alike.

All of the day use amenities are nearby in campground. There are stairs for access to the beach from the day use parking and campground. Very natural and wide open atmosphere on the beach. Photo credit to Michael Leonard from Flickr.
