Mairangi Bay
Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand

Mairangi Bay Beach was once known as Little Murrays Bay after a land owner who farmed and dug Kauri gum. After Joesph Murrays death the beach was renamed Mairangi's Bay to avoid confusion with Murrays bay, a neighbouring community. The beach is now a perfect place to swim as it is patrolled on weekends by the Mairangi Bay Surf Life Saving Club. Parking and nearby public transit bus stops make this beach easily accessible.
