Loop Beach is a medium-sized beach with great views overlooking the Nantucket Sound. It is frequented by Barnstable residents and is surrounded by private beaches on either side. The waters are calm and there is a roped-off swimming area - a nice atmosphere for any type of beachgoer. There is a handicap accessible parking lot adjacent to the beach. Amenities include showers, restrooms, swimming lessons, and handicap chairs. Lifeguards are on duty only during summer season. Residential parking stickers are $30 and daily parking fees are $15 (weekdays) and $20 (weekends and holidays). Weekly passes are $50 and seasonal passes are $200.
