The Little Sand Bay Beach and Recreation Area is located in a scenic and secluded spot just off of Lake Superior. The park and campground is operated by the Town of Russell. Little Sand Bay is also a gateway area to the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, a group of 21 islands and 12 miles of mainland along the shore of Lake Superior.
