Little Bucklands Beach

Little Bucklands beach was used as a brick making until 1879 when John Granger purchased the equipment and moved the brick works to Whitford Creek. Many bricks and tiles can still be found along this beautiful sandy beach. A 230 meter long boardwalk extends from the south end of Little Bucklands Beach and the eastern end of Half Moon Bay Marina. Facilities at this beautiful long stretch of sandy beaches now include ample parking, modern toilets and changing rooms, all tide boat ramp and nearby restaurants, bakery's, wine shops and children's play-centre. The area is named after Alfred Buckland, a successful businessman owned the bought the beach in the late 1800's.
