Paved parking is available at this stony beach, where the Lester River meets Lake Superior. Nearby, Lester Park has been a popular place for swimming (in the river) and fishing for more than a century. Lester River's original name was "Busa-bika-zibi", which means "river where water flows through a worn place in the rocks."
