Lakeside Park is a beautiful beach that resides in Thessalon Ontario, located across from the Lakeside Park Campground. This large, sandy beach is perfect for enjoying water sports such as kayaking or paddle boarding, swimming in the clear blue waters of Lake Huron, or just spending a day at the beach. The park includes some recently added amenities: clean & modern facilities including changerooms, washrooms and showers, free Wifi, and a children’s play area, garbage's, picnic tables and benches, and a gazebo. This beach requires dogs to be leashed and picked up after, and it is unsupervised. The park is open from Friday of Victoria Day Weekend and closes Monday of Thanksgiving Day.
