Access to the Poteete Creek Park Recreation Area is through the Poteete Creek Campground. This 59-site campground is located 13 miles north of Blairsville off GA Hwy.325 (Nottely Dam Rd.). The campground is open April 1st through October 15th. The Recreation Area is open from 8:00 am-7:00 pm and includes the swimming beach, playground for small children, picnic tables, picnic pavilion, restrooms, and a bathhouse with showers. The swimming beach and boat ramp require a parking pass of $5.00 per car. Reservations are recommended for camping and beach pavilion rental: (706) 439-6103.
