This 46-acre waterfront park features bathrooms, a swimming area, boat launching and docks, a playground, picnic shelters, nature trails, fishing pier, enclosed dog park, and a volleyball court. Picnic shelters are available for reservation along the shores of Lake Norman. Individuals and families planning a trip to the swimming beach will be able to visit daily throughout the summer from Memorial Day until Labor Day. Lifeguards will be on duty during beach hours. A free shuttle will operate from Cornelius Park and Ride lot (20300 Sefton Park Road) to Ramsey Creek Beach on weekends and holidays. The shuttle will run every 15 minutes from 9 am - 8 pm. Beachgoers who use the shuttle will have free access to the beach. Throughout the summer, a park entrance fee will be collected.

Charlotte Parks and Recreation partners with the Charlotte Stormwater services to test this beach bi-weekly.
