Lake Lariat is an artificial lake in Lusby, Calvert County. It is situated in the Chesapeake Ranch Estates community and only members have access to the beach. The lake has a history of water quality issues due to the agricultural runoff. Algae blooms and mercury are also an issue in the lake. Always check water quality and fish advisories before swimming in the lake or consuming fish or shell fish from the lake.
