Aliso Beach is popular for bodyboarders, and families. There are picnic tables, grills, a play area, concessions and a snack bar. Beach wheelchairs are available from lifeguard headquarters; (949) 499-3312. The park extends to the east side of Pacific Coast Hwy and is connected to the beach side with a pedestrian tunnel; there is also beach side fee parking available. This beach has an unobstructed horizon, so it is a perfect location for watching the sunset. Once you are on the actual beach you will notice a large amount of rocks and tidepooling areas to your far left, which is Aliso Point. To the Far right you will notice Aliso Creek and past that is Montage Beach, named after the Montage Resort that is directly above it. at the far end of Montage you will see another set of rocks and tidepooling areas.

Reminders: There is a 3-day rain advisory after each rain storm, use caution as bacteria levels can increase during this period. The County Environmental Health staff advises swimmers that levels of bacteria can rise significantly in ocean and bay waters adjacent to storm drains, creeks and rivers. Swimmers should avoid coastal waters impacted by discharging storm drains creeks and rivers, and beach users should avoid contact with any runoff on the beach during dry or wet weather conditions. As an extra precaution remain 500 ft away on either side from any outfalls.
