Kitty Coleman Bathing Beach - South
Comox-Strathcona B, British Columbia, Canada
Kitty Coleman Provincial Park is on the south side of the Georgia Strait and this park supports all summer activities including fishing, camping, hiking, boating, and swimming. There are 900 meters of shoreline in the park and the amenities include picnic shelters, pit toilets, two boat launches, hiking trails, and nature-viewing. The eastern part of the park contains an old-growth Douglas fir, estimated to be more than 500 years old.
