Kearney Lake is an exuberant site with numerous offerings. Finding Kearney Lake is not difficult either as it is located alongside Kearney Lake Road. The main point of entry into Kearney Lake will require a left turn (off the 102 highway) on to Hamshaw Drive and shortly a right turn on to Saskatoon Drive. There is parking available on the site but spaces are limited.

Kearney Lake has a sandy beach next to a marvelous lake. At Kearney Lake, there is also an onsite washroom and a playground for children. From July 1 to August 31, there are lifeguards on duty (on fair weather days only from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm). Alongside the lake is where the Maskwa Aquatic Club can be found (it is a sailing and rowing club). The Maskwa Aquatic Club also offers swimming and lifeguard training. Nearby from the lake, there are several enthralling trails that one could bike on or walk in the Blue Mountain Birch Cove Wilderness Areas.
