Joshua Pond is another peaceful gem of a hidden beach in a residential community in Barnstable. Though small, it offers great views and a grassy hill overlook offering lots of space in the sun. There's a playground for kids and a roped-off swimming area. Steep stairs lead down to the beach from the small parking area, which is located on Way off of Tower Hill Road. Restrooms, showers, and swimming lessons are available. Handicap chairs, food concessions, and picnic areas are not available. Lifeguards are on duty only during summer months. Residential parking stickers are $30 and daily parking fees are $15 (weekdays) and $20 (weekends and holidays). Weekly passes are $50 and seasonal passes are $200.
