Jarvis Lake in William Switzer Provincial Park has two beaches. One of the beaches is at the campground and one beach at the day use area. Both beaches are sandy with clear, shallow waters in the swimming areas. The water will be chillier in this part of Alberta due to its closeness to the Rocky Mountains, so it is refreshing for most of the season. Both beaches have the usual PP amenities and are very popular on weekends. I you want to avoid the crowds go during the week for peace and quiet.

Other beaches in the area include day use beaches at Gregg Lake and "Kelleys Bathtub."
