Jardine Municipal Park beach is located in a park that is operated by the municipal government. The saltwater beach is unsupervised. In the Mi'kmaq language, the river's name means "river of fire". The water is warm and safe for swimming. If you wish to stay for few days, there is a camping site near the beach. The beach has many facilities such as a change rooms, washrooms, showers, parking and food services. There is a children's playground and picnic areas where it is possible to BBQ.
