Irving eco-centre beach, la dune de Bouctouche is an ideal place for visitors who are proud supporters of eco-tourism. The beach opens to saltwater and it is very well maintained by the Irving eco-centre staff, though it is unsupervised. The centre offers learning experiences for all ages. During peak season, there are many educational programs and events. Free recreational activities such as workshops and presentations about the wildlife are offered by the Irving eco-centre team. The hiking trails along the sand dune give you a unique learning experience about the different wildlife living in the habitats nearby. The dune stretches about 12 km across the Bouctouche bay. There are washrooms in the Ivring eco-centre and BBQ presents on site.
