Iron Pier Beach is located on the Long Island Sound at the end of Pier Avenue, off of Sound Avenue. Fishing, jet skiing, and picnicking are common activities. Amenities include restrooms, showers, a boat access, a snack shack for food and drink, and piers. No alcohol, pets, or outside food allowed. Lifeguards are on duty during the summer season. The beach is open to the public year-round, though a parking permit is required to park. Year-round 4X4 access is also available with a permit. Wheelchairs with beach accessibility are available during the summer. Beach hours are sunrise to 10pm year-round. This is a Tier III beach.
