Iosegun Lake is located near Fox Creek, AB about 95km NW of Whitecourt. The name Isoegun comes from a Cree or Stoney word meaning "tail" or "hash".

The Lake is nestled in dense forest and the shoreline is mostly undeveloped giving it a natural feel. Theres a recreation area on the southeast side of the lake offering a campsite, picnic area, water pump, and a boat launch and dock. Windsurfing, power-boating, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling are all popular recreational activities on the lake.

This is also a popular fishing lake in the area. Species such as lake whitefish, cisco, walleye, northern pike, yellow perch, white sucker, and burbot are all found in the lake. Fishing regulations are applied.
