Indian Wells Beach

Indian Wells Beach in Amagansett is a gorgeous lifeguard-protected public beach with clean sands and a large permit-only parking lot. It is also home to the Nature Conservancy’s Atlantic Double Dunes, an ecological reserve. The family friendly atmosphere, volleyball nets, row of food trucks, and the great sand and surf draw beachgoers and surfers. Restrooms and surf chairs are available. Animals are not permitted on the beach from May 15-September 15 from 10am-6pm. Summer hours are 9am-6pm daily. Residential parking permits are required, and beach driving always requires a permit and is not allowed from 10am-6pm. Both are available at East Hampton Town Hall. This is a Tier III beach.
