Known as Surf City USA, Huntington is the site of international surfing competitions. Facilities include food and surf equipment concessions, beach wheelchairs, and sand volleyball courts. There are stairways to the beach between First St. and Beach Boulevard. The Huntington Beach Pier is 1,850 feet long with snack bars, bait and tackle shops, and a restaurant. It is floodlit at night for fishing and surfing, it has a wheelchair accessible restroom. Pier parking is located adjacent to the pier. These two lots use a Pay and Display System, and parking may be restricted in these lots due to events and valet operations during the year. If you plan on doing some shopping in the area you can park at the Main Promenade Parking Structure, located on the east side of Main Street between Walnut and Olive Streets.
