The beach at Humboldt Park is locates south of the field house. The beach is a manmade structure part of the Humboldt Park lagoon. This park features many different activities including baseball, soccer, and tennis, as well as many events. There are a total of 219 acres that make up Humboldt Park. Enjoy trails along the water, rental facilities for your events, and beautiful scenery. Though he never actually travelled to Chicago, this park is named for "Cosmos: Draft of a Physical Description of the World" author Alexander Von Humboldt (a German naturalist and geographer).
