Holden Beach Bridge
Holden Beach, North Carolina, United States

The Holden Beach Bridge was built in 1986 to allow better access for the residents of the island. Holden Beach itself is considered a very pleasant family-oriented community that welcomes all visitors to explore its white sandy beaches and inhabiting sea turtles. The hatching of the sea turtle eggs accounts for one of the most acclaimed activities of the island during the main tourist season, May through August. Holden Beach can also be enjoyed by fishers who can bait from the Holden Beach pier or rent out charters to go out on the Atlantic ocean. Holden Beach was voted one of the best family beaches by the readers of USA Today and National Geographic's Traveler magazines.
