Jupiter Island is a town located on the barrier island that is its namesake. The Atlantic coast beckons guests to enjoy this section of Florida where the Treasure Coast and Gold Coast blend. The area is history rich, with Hobe Sound being named for the Native Americans encountered by shipwreck survivors as early 1699. Habitats abound with the ocean, inlets, tidal lakes and rivers bordering much of the region. Lifeguards are on duty. Onsite amenities include concessions, picnic area, restrooms, fishing, surfing, swimming, shelling, snorkeling, windsurfing, dune crossovers and parking.
