Herring Cove Beach is a popular, sandy beach in Provincetown that is managed by the Cape Cod National Seashore. The water is warm and calm so it's a great place for families. It's also a beautiful place to watch the sunset, or maybe even see whales or seals. There are restrooms and showers and lifeguards are on duty. After a swim you can enjoy a picnic brought from home or purchase food from the concession stand. There are two parking lots, but visitors must pay a daily parking fee.
