Hathaway's Pond is a medium-sized beach located off of Phinney's Lane in Barnstable. With a playground, swing set, barbecue grills, restrooms, showers, picnic tables, and plenty of shade, it makes for a fantastic day for beachgoers. Here you will find calm waters, pine trees, peaceful views, and a roped-off swimming area. It's only a short walk to the beach but there is limited parking. Handicap chairs and swimming lessons are available. Lifeguards are on duty only during summer season. Resident beach stickers are $30 and daily parking passes are $7 (weekdays) and $10 (weekends and holidays). Weekly parking passes are $50 and seasonal passes are $200.
