This small, quiet, sandy beach on the Hauraki Gulf is perfect for families with small children, complete with a picnic area and toilets. At low tide the cliffs are perfect for waking and there are natural trails surrounding the beach front. There is an all-tide boat ramp making the beach perfect for launching boats and the waters are perfect for water sports. Dogs are prohibited on the beach from the 1st Sunday in October - the 3rd Sunday in March from 9am-7pm.
