If you're looking for a quiet getaway spot without traveling far, then check out Hasse Lake. The lake is located about 55km west of Edmonton. The lake has a very natural feel to it since there is not much development around it

Hasse Lake Recreation Area provides a day use area run by Parkland County. There is a small beach area, picnic area, and hand/carry boat launch area. The lake is very small with abundant bird life so bird watchers keep an eye out.
