An extension of Hartigan Beach North (no longer monitored for water quality), Hartigan Beach South also has long distance swimming parallel to the shore. There is limited parking available on the street and no public washrooms. However, the sand beach is a great place to relax or get active and enjoy the beautiful shoreline of Lake Michigan.
