Harry Harris County Park Beach
Tavernier, Florida, United States
Located on Tavernier Key (mile marker 92.5), this park offers fishing and swimming basin, children's playground, picnic areas with charcoal grills, a softball field and basketball courts. The beach is a man made sandy beach and the clear ocean water is safe for a relaxed swim. The park beach also contains a nice boat ramp. There is no camping, no concession and no equipment rentals. Pets are allowed, although restricted. This well maintained Keys beach is just one of this parks amenities. Others include a childrens playground, restrooms, picnic tables and barbecue grills, fishing jetty, boat ramp and ball fields.
Park Hours: Sunrise to Sunset.
Admission: free all the time for Monroe County residents. On Saturdays, Sundays and Federal Holidays, Non-County residents over 16 years of age, are charged $5 per person.
Directions: Mile Marker 92.5 oceanside, Overseas Highway. Take Burton Drive to its end.
