BEACH INFO:
Harrison Bay Resort and RV Park, formerly the Old Orchard Campground, is located on Harrison Bay near Kilby and Harrison Mills. It's listed here as Harrison Bay Beach (as per FHA Beaches report). The trailer and RV park is open all year in this picturesque spot on the Harrison River, which flows from Harrison Lake. The site has RV hook-ups and a boat launch. Harrison River has a strong current, and water levels may rise quickly during spring freshet and heavy rains in fall and winter. Swim with extreme caution, and only those who are reliably strong swimmers. For this reason, non-swimmers or weak swimmers should not use air mattresses or other toy flotation devices. There is no lifeguard at this site.
AMENITIES and ACTIVITIES:
There are several RV hook-up camp spots, three cabins for rent, and a boat launch and dock to access the Harrison River, which is popular with recreational anglers pursuing salmon and other fish species. The area offers access a range of recreational activities including hiking, walking, kayaking, sailing, golf, hot springs, mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing, and bald eagle and nature viewing.
