Gun Rock is a small crescent shaped stretch of beach between Nantasket Beach in Hull and Cohasset. It has beautiful views of the open water. It is a neighborhood beach that attracts families, and is a quiet, sandy cove, great for paddling and swimming. The water is relatively protected from the wind, though it is a tidal beach and there are no lifeguards on duty so swim at your own risk. Parking in front of this beach is often limited and signed for local residents. There is also street parking along Atlantic Avenue, off the road.
