Gull Harbour Beach
Division No. 18, Unorganized, East Part, Manitoba, Canada
Located on a peninsula just under three hours north of Winnpeg, Gull Harbour Beach is a sandy white beach on the northern tip of Hecla Island, part of Hecla/Grindstone Provincial Park. The area is mixed forest with birch, fir and aspen. There is a full service provincially-run campground, and Provincial Park Permits are required for all visitors. Swimming is unsupervised. The beach has a marina with a fuel station, playgrounds, modern washrooms and outhouses and a concession stand. For recreation, there are tennis and volleyball courts near the beach, and an 18 hole golf course within walking distance. Hiking and bike trails and historic lighthouses on the eastern point of the harbour.
