Goose Spit Beach - Outside Right
Comox-Strathcona B, British Columbia, Canada
Goose Spit Regional Park is a popular spot for locals due to its proximity from downtown Comox, and due to its unique geography and its gorgeous scenery. This park offers rock and sandy shorelines with plenty of logs for people to sit on. Beach fires are permitted only in the metal rings provided at this park and they must be extinguished by 11pm. There are four picnic tables with three benches at this site, but bringing a parasol isn't a bad idea. There are three parking lots at this park with some roadside parking available. Leashes are optional at this park (it becomes mandatory from March ~ May), so your furry companions can also enjoy the beach in its full glory. Brant geese use this spot as their migratory stop during March to May (hence the mandatory leash). The park steward also offers an interpretive tour of the park and could answer any more questions you may have of the park.
