The park has a sandy beach, grassy areas with picnic spots and pit and flush toilets. The park is open from April to October. Canoe/kayak/pedal boat rentals are available for rent in the Alouette (South Beach) day-use area on weekends only from May long weekend to late June and daily from late June to Labour Day (weather permitting). There are 5 different trails for hiking and some trails designated for biking. There are three campgrounds located at Golden Ears Provincial Park: Alouette campground, Gold Creek campground and North Beach campground that are all vehicle accessible. Showers with hot water are in the Gold Creek campground.
