Goffinsville Boat Ramp
Fernandina Beach, Florida, United States

This out-of-the-way park has plenty to do for the entire family. In addition to the boat ramp, the park features pavilions for picnicking, a playground, restroom, walking trail and restroom. Enjoy fishing, boating and family time on the gorgeous Nassau River. There is a hand launch area for kayaks and canoes. The park is named after Saul Goffin. Mr. Goffin was a Russian immigrant that came to Amelia Island and purchased the 19-acre land parcel in 1893. He established the community of Goffinsville on this site, which included a fleet of shrimp boats, an oyster packing plant, a cannery, a post office, and more. The land was sold to the Trust For Public Land in 2002. In 2009, Nassau County held a grand re-opening. The park is also the site of an innovative demonstration Living Shoreline under construction by the UF/IFAS Nassau County Extension office.
