There is a swimming area and sandy beach located at Gloucester Point. The park also has a Beach House, which is open during the summer months. Here you will find a concession stand, restrooms, and shower for rinsing off after a swim. The Beach House is wheelchair accessible. When you've finished swimming, you can enjoy a picnic on the large grassy area, at one of the picnic tables, or at one of the picnic shelters, which can be rented by calling the Parks, Recreation, and Tourism office. There is also a fishing pier here.
