Kiddie Beach, also knows as Gerritsen Beach, is a local swimming hole that lies on a peninsula in Brooklyn near Marine Park and Sheepshead Bay. In addition to swimming, there are many events throughout the summer including fundraisers, basketball games, karaoke, and open mic nights. Fishing is very popular here. The beach is intended for Gerritsen Beach residents only. There are beach accesses located at the end of Hyman Court and Post Court. The Gerritsen ballfields, consisting of three baseball fields, two athletic fields for soccer or football, and one Little League field, are located on the east side of Gerritsen Avenue.
